Natasha Bedingfield - American Success
Submitted by: KevinB
Natasha Bedingfield continues to make waves in America, while many British bands and performers can barely make a ripple. The success generated by Natasha is not the normal response encountered by British bands as they normally struggle to make any form of impact. In general, only a select handful are embraced and accepted easily into the music scene.
Recently, Natasha has been personally signed up by Sylvester Stallone to perform the theme tune for the upcoming new Rocky movie. The song that will be performed is Still Here, which was written for her by Diane Warren. The track will be a prominent feature throughout the production of the film.
Natasha's song will be featured when Rocky, played by Stallone, is reflecting on the good times he had in the past with his wife. It could become a major best seller for Natasha due to the fact there is a lot of hype surrounding the Rocky movie, and this will considerably improve her visibility to mainstream America.
The movie is scheduled for a Christmas release in America and as such could put Natasha in the running to claim a Christmas number 1 if the song is timed to be released near to the movie. The timing of the release may guarantee Natasha starts next year as a household name in America and may lead to even greater success.
Natasha moved over to America last year and rents a property on Malibu Beach, Los Angeles. Her album, Unwritten, has achieved sales in excess of 1 million copies and she has become the face of Gap in America. This certainly is an exciting time in her career and the prospects look extremely bright for her immediate future.
Natasha may be known by some as the sister of Daniel Bedingfield, but with her undoubted success in America, she has become known in her own right. She originated from Lewisham in South East London and nobody will begrudge her new homestead in Los Angeles.
